It has a slim V neck profile with satin-finish back, 9.5" fingerboard radius, and medium-jumbo frets to boost the playability. The souped-up electronics roar with Samarium Cobalt Noiseless guitar pickups at the neck and mid along with a DiMarzio Tone Zone pickup at the bridge, plus the second tone control is wired to the bridge pickup. A top-of-the-line thin-skin nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives it the right look. The rest is true-blue '57 Strat: comfort-contoured alder body, maple neck with vintage C profile, Fender/Gotoh vintage-style tuners, single-ply white pickguard, and chrome hardware.The U.S. Vintage Hot Rod Series from Fender creates new instruments but with looks, specs, and features that make them feel as if you were the third owner of a vintage instrument. Selling my Fender American Standard Stratocaster. I bought this strat brand new, played in a band for a few years and haven't touched it since, minus tuning it. I pulled the original, white hardware off when I got it and replaced the white hardware with black shell. I also replaced the original pickups with Fender lace sensor pickups. I payed $999 when I originally bought the guitar from musician's friend and over $400 for the custom hardware. This guitar sounds amazing!! Still play guitar but stick to my Takamine acoustic. Looking to buy a sniper rifle to start practicing for the police agency I work for and just don't pay enough attention to this beaut anymore. Guitar is in mint condition and has always been stored inside under my bed in the case. One tiny dent next to the plug. Can't see it unless you really look for it. This is an original 2001 Fender Stratocaster, made in America, serial number Z1035810, in near-mint condition.  There is very little playing wear, only a few scuff marks and fingerprints.  There hasn't even been a screw turned on the guitar.  It is just like how it left the factory over 10-years ago.  Only the strings have been changed.  The ash-wood body has beautiful figured grain, and the two-tone finish is reminiscent of a mid-1950's Strat.  The cool looking marbled pickguard (mother of toilet seat) adds a nice touch.  The original frets show no wear (as seen in the close-up), the neck is straight, the string action is low, and the guitar plays and sounds great.  It weighs a moderate 7 pounds, 10.9 ounces, and comes in its original Fender hardshell case.  Just  $895 or best offer.  So, don't wait... all reasonable offers considered.  Thanks for your interest.
