1974 FENDER
STRATOCASTER
STANDARD MAPLE NECK

DESCRIPTION: You
are looking at a beautifully vintage, all original 1974 Fender
Standard Stratocaster maple neck. This genuine, fast-playing Fender neck features a very comfortable, hand-fitting "C"-shape profile,
and 21 frets that still have plenty of life. The scale length is 25.5" (648mm), and the
nut width is 1.650" (42mm). This is a perfect addition to any Stratocaster project. If you're looking for a nice vintage neck that hasn't been abused, this is your lucky day! This ripe piece of aged maple is chock full of vintage mojo, and still has plenty of life - and tone - left to give.

CONDITION: This
particular neck is in excellent condition, and shows little-to-average signs of use. The frets are at about 75-80%, and the fingerboard is ultra
smooth
and fairly clean. The neck is straight, the truss rod works perfectly, and there are absolutely no cracks, breaks or repairs of any kind anywhere on this beautiful neck. The lacquer shows slight checking throughout the neck, which is fairly common for a 36-year-old neck. It does not, however, detract from the overall beauty of this wonderful neck. Additionally, the neck was originally installed on a three-bolt Fender body. At some point in its life it was installed on a four-bolt Fender body, which means that it is now ready for installation on either body type. The additional two holes are visible in one of the pictures above.

HARDWARE: Included are the original strings trees and original Fender "F" logo tuners, which alone can cost you upwards of $300 in today's vintage parts market.
