Brief Intro
I know I have only 1 transaction (book on Half.com, a while back), but I do track electric guitars on eBay so I’m familiar with the vicissitudes of the eBay process
On one hand it all looks so simple, yet horror stories abound
At this time, I am selling 4 solid body guitars, all NR, 3 out of 4 starting out at $.01
For whatever it’s worth, I am PayPal verified, an AARP member, worked in education most of my life
To the winning bidder, I promise prompt, unequivocal communication and immediate delivery of the described axe

How I Treat My Guitars
I baby all my axes, play lightly, the action is kept very low
I never strum--just power chords, melodies, leads
All kept inside the case/box, in a SMOKE FREE environment, NEVER left the house
Strings are wiped down during and after each session (almost obsessively)
ALWAYS wore long sleeves (high thread count cotton), NEVER a belt
To boot, all 4 guitars up for auction at this time did not get much playing time

Reason for Selling
Just don’t play much anymore
No longer interested in “collecting”

About This Particular Axe
2005 Fender (Custom Shop) Custom Classic Stratocaster, 3-Color Sunburst, w/original Custom Shop HSC
I am the original owner. Serial Number undisclosed for obvious reasons
Specs: All original, No mods, came with straplocks with matching strap
Weight: 7.9 lbs (bathroom scale)
Playability: Smooth, fast, very comfortable
Sound: Very resonant clean, treacly with overdrive/distortion. Amazing tone unamped
Neck: Lightly “Birdseyed,” the most beautiful neck I have ever seen, live or screen. Light gloss on the fretboard, smooth satin on the back
Body: Super-clean. No scratches, period
Mileage: extremely low, rarely played. Bought as “collector” not “player”
The collective appearance of this Strat is much better than that of new guitars (IMO). The natural aging (vintaging) makes it more appealing, rich and inviting. You can just gaze at this axe all day from every angle, I kid you not
Comes with: locking strap, allen wrenches, original paperwork including certificate of authenticity…the cord, 4 picks, and tiny yellow polishing rag have been used but still clean

Perhaps I should have included the following with the original listing (info I found online): "The Custom Classic Stratocaster "C" Neck guitar is the Fender Custom Shop's version of the American Series Stratocaster. It has a thin-finished alder or ash body (depending on color) and lightly-figured C-shaped maple neck with rosewood or maple fingerboard, 9.5" radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets. Features include three Modern Classic single-coil pickups including the Hot Classic bridge pickup with custom steel inductance plate, Fender Deluxe staggered cast/sealed machine heads, three-ply parchment pickguard, aged white plastic parts, and a Custom Classic two-point synchronized tremolo with milled solid-stainless saddles, solid steel spring block and pop-in arm."
