LIGHTWEIGHT - only 7.8 lbs! This Strat is 100% original featuring "staggered pole" pickups with all cloth wiring and every solder joint untouched! 1986 dated pots, factory 5-way switch, original pickguard, knobs, tuners, etc.! The neck stamp is penciled '8-11-86'

These early 1986 Reissues are the best guitars Fender ever produced! In 1986, with only 10 people on the manufacturing floor, guitars were limited to only 4 or 5 a day. So these first early years guitars were hand made and quality was second to none!
Leftover parts were used when Fender sold in 1985 to build this guitar using the exact specifications, materials, tooling and techniques as the original 1962 Fender Stratocaster.

The "staggered pole" pickups that are authentic to the original Leo Fender '62s in every detail and give you that classic ringing Fender Stratocaster tone.

This guitar is in FANTASTIC vintage condition ~~ nicely AGED!

The neck is perfect and fast with a vintage rounded profile. Nice easy action with no string buzz. Original frets still have lots and lots of life left! The case is in great condition as well.
