Fender Stratocaster

This is a fine example of an early custom color fullerton 57 reissue. It is widely known that Lake Placid Blue is the rarest of the early Fullerton V-Re's.  This is a special guitar !  

1983 FULLERTON VINTAGE REISSUE 1957 Lake Placid Blue STRATOCASTER 

Killer hand build on these early re-issues, done up in Lake Placid Blue, which has aged into a deep ocean blue. (There are only a handful documented original 57's in the color, google "The Stratocaster Chronicles + Lake Placid Blue).

This guitar has been in my collection for 30 years, since it was bought new in 1984 from Dearborn Music in MI.  I replaced the pups in the late 90's with actives (ala Smashing Pumpkins era)  and returned the original pups to the guitar in 2005.  The guitar has also had a professional refret by one of the best guys in the business.
