This is a 2009 Fender John Mayer Artist Series Stratocaster Body. 

Select Alder, 62 reissue style

Included with the body is a brand new, genuine Fender 62 reissue, 3 ply Tortoise Shell Pickguard, with the plastic still on it,

along with another single ply, 50's style, black aftermarket pickguard, with machine turned SRV Decals. It is slightly used.

Some brand new gold hardware including, a neck plate with screws, an input jack, and some gold pickguard screws.

I purchased this very nice, select alder, John Mayer body to build a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute Strat, but my wife surprised me with a brand new SRV signature series strat for a gift. The body is in very good plus, to excellent condition. There are some minor surface scratches and players marks that are normal and not very noticable, The minor scratches could easily be buffed out and are not able to be photographed.

 There are two small dings on the upper edge of the guitar.  The worst one is about 4mm long. I took a photo of the worst ding. The body still looks great, but I want to be honest and point out that the body is not in mint condition, but still very nice. The flaws don't stick out like a sore thumb, but please remember it is a used body, with some minor flaws.

I'm going to sell it at a very reasonable price to give someone a good deal, when compared to the normal prices seen. I would love to keep the body and use it for a project, but I already have two guitars with the 3 tone sunburst color. Remember the price also inclused the extra parts.
