THIS GUITAR IS A 1998 FENDER STANDARD STRATOCASTER MIM.
THIS GUITAR IS A NICELY BROKEN IN PLAYER WITH A FEW DINGS, DENTS AND MANY SCRATCHES ON THE BACK. THE BACK FINISH LOOKS LIKE THE LAST OWNER MUST HAVE NEVER CARED ABOUT BUCKLE RASH!!!

This guitar is a used FENDER product, and carries no warranty by FMIC, and does not infringe upon FMIC's intellectual property.

This guitar was selected from a private collection for it quality and uniqueness. Then evaluated and tested for playability. Next it was completely disassembled and inspected. Special attention is
taken with the finish of the neck. The fret ends were shaped, the back of the neck was smoothed and polished before a vintage
staining process was applied. Then the entire neck was buffed to a fine
finish.  Next the guitar parts were inspected before they were
reassembled. Each guitar is assembled to the factory specifications
with special attention to the setup of the action for maximum
playability. Each guitar that I create, I make
for my own use and I take pride in workmanship. Please take the time

Hey Scott,

Got the bass today buddy, and I gotta tell ya ... what a freakin' nice bass my friend!!!

I'm a part-time Nashville session guitarist who occasionally doubles as
a session bassist when the bills need to get paid. I've got another
Fender Precision MIM, a Tobias Toby Pro (Made in Japan), a USA-made
Tobias from the mid-1990s, and an Epiphone Thunderbird that was set up
by one of Nashville's finest luthiers. NONE OF THEM hold a candle to
this relic'd Fender Precision that I just got from you. I simply
plugged it in and away I went ... the only thing I might do is change
the pickups ... MAYBE ... other than that, this thing plays fantastic.
The neck is exactly how I like them ... smooth as silk ... and you must
have done something with the controls because they taper perfectly
between each extreme. Needless to say, some of my other basses will be
finding their way to eBay!!!

I'm usually a Les Paul/Humbucker guy, but I've been getting the
single-coil itch lately and have dusted off a couple of my Strats ...
don't be surprised if I call you in a few weeks wanting to hook up with
one of your Strats!!!!

Dear scottsrelicguitars,
I
just wanted to say thanks. This one is better than anything I could
even expected. Definitely not like any other mexican strat. You really
brought this thing to life. Its got personality and soul. Every other
strat I've played, I set up knobs so I can get 2 good sounds in those 2
toggle positions. No matter what I do, I can't get a bad sound out of
this one.
I
can't make up my mind how to set it. Even though I know I'll never get
board of it, it makes me want another one. Everyone that has seen it 
their jaws hit the floor. In one day this baby changed the way I've
played guitar for the last 20 years. Oh yeah. What kind of pickups do I
have in the middle and bridge? Their awesome! The bridge is perfect.
Bright but nothing crazy mixes nice with the single coils. I figured I
might have to swap it out, I have pickups on hand like Duncan JB and
George Lynch, but the Fender one stays. Flick it the switch up and
those single coils can sing! Also do you have a website? Just curious
about your other creations.

Hi,
Just wanna tell you I got the black strat relic yesterday and was
TOTALLY IMPRESSED. Great job, played in tune right out of the box,
and was gonna use it as a spare, but might use my USA strat as the
spare and make this my go-to guitar. Been playing for 34 yrs. so I
know what I'm saying. Extra quick service also. When some of my friends
play this baby, you might get some more buyers coming your way. You do great work!!!

Hi
Scott, great, really happy, sounds great, what pickups? I played it
thru my old Peavey Duece, wow, I actually bought a set of Owen Duff
vintage pickups, so I'll see what I prefer. Im also not a huge fan of
pearloid pick guards, and a few days ago I won a relic'd 3 ply which
I'll also fit. I've left you good feedback, and please keep me in mind
when the white one is ready.

Dear Scott, I need to praise you like I should for this guitar. It
looks quite convincing and plays like butter. the intonation is
perfect, even with tremolo and capo. the pickups have lots of juice and
I can't get a bad sound out of the guitar. I've a been a pro for years,
for what it's worth, and I appreciate someone who takes pride in his

The
guitars that I buy for my projects are used and I am not an expert to
be able to know what type of wood is used for this particular guitar.

*3-Fender Headstock Decals:
When
the Fender
factory applies headstock decals the decal is sealed in many layers of
the clear finish. When the natural aging process occurs both the decal
and the clear finish change color and the decal outline becomes more
visible. My "Vintage Finish" that is applied to the neck finish to
replicate the natural aging process has a similar effect to the
headstock logo decal and serial number decal.
