Fender Stratocaster

Custom Built Stratocaster.  Older Squire one piece ash body that was refinished with hard to find NOS Sea Foam Green Nitro lacquer.  The tremolo bridge is Squire as well. The body was painted about a year ago and it has already started to check some and shows some pigment seperation in the color coat.  I though about redoing it but I kind of like the way it's starting to age. It has a few nicks and dings that were left as is during the refinish because I think it gives it some personality and history.  The neck is has 22 medium jumbo frets with zero wear and a very nice birdseye maple grain.  It has 6 coats of tinted nitro lacquer and vintage Fender logo decals.  The pickguard and backcover are three ply white/black/ white beveled pieces with new Fender screws.  The guard is loaded with Texas Hot Dual bar alnicos from a MIM Fender Strat.  They have great sound.  NOS Fender quarter sized control pots were used not the dime sized pieces of junk.  It has a brand new set of nickel finish Wilkerson Vintage style tuners featuring hole posts not slots.  Also included is a brand new tweed plush lined hardshell case.  The neck is dead straight, the action is medium low with some adjustment still left.  It has a new set of Fender Bullet .010's  All new hardware was used for all fastners. New Genuine Fender strap buttons and felts. This is a very nice guitar and has more than the purchase price invested.
