Fender Stratocaster

for sale is a Stratocaster reliced. The guitar has a Fender logo on the
headstock but the original owner said he had it custom made from parts
so I don't think it's a "Fender" per say. This is without a doubt the
best Fender tone you will ever hear (in my opinion). Pure raw Fender
tone at its muddiest. The closest you will get to the SRV tone that
everyone is searching for. The guitar is loaded with Fender Hot single
coils with this switch that runs off 9V battery, but I'm not sure what
it's called. (SFG or SFS switch?) What it does is push the single coils
to the max and is compared to a range boost. The tone is very "glassy".
I just recently got the pickups rewired, 5-way switch replaced, and
that switch replaced. Guitar works flawlessly. The guitar is reliced as
I mentioned before with a very 50's vintage sunburst that is more
brown/yellow. Very beautiful. There are 2 small nicks at the 17th fret
where the screws were a tad too long upon neck installation but does
not affect playability at all. But hey, it's a relic, so what do you
expect? The neck is very reliced and broken in with a pure wood feel to
it. Very nice. This guitar will not disappoint. Includes deluxe gig bag. I am selling this guitar only because I need the money.
