Fender Stratocaster

You're looking at a frankenstein Stratocaster that plays great and screams. Basically I had nearly enough quality parts from other guitar projects to piece together this monster so I went shopping for the rest and built it. The body is a Squier which makes this guitar ultra thin and light. It is purposely distressed and looks quite used and beat up. Everything else is upgraded. The neck has a nice satin finish, ebony finger board and medium jumbo frets. No wear on the frets. The tuning machines and hardware are Fender American. The two humbuckers are Seymour Duncans which I removed from a 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom and the Single coil is a Dimarzio Chopper. All three of these pickups smoke and the five position switch makes the guitar very versatile. The coolest feature is the pot wiring. The three knobs are volume, tone and a master tone. The volume and tone knobs are both push pull coil taps for the humbuckers which adds another layer of versatility to the sound. I had the guitar wired and set up professionally by the best guy in NYC at 30th Street Guitar. Obviously this guitar is not pretty but it plays great and sounds great. I'm basically selling it at the Buy It Now price for the cost of the parts (not including the Humbuckers). This guitar will be shipped in a gigbag and will be packaged very well. So if you want a great gigging axe don't let this one go.
