Fender Stratocaster

This is an original 1991 Fender Stratocaster, 1957 reissue, serial number V048482, in very good condition.    The original finish is in good shape... just a little dull with age, and shows some normal light playing wear.  The neck is stamped: FEB 14 1991 as seen in the close-up, and the pot codes are R137-9105 which translates to CTS manufactured the 5th week of 1991.  There a small round red sticker in the control cavity routing in the body that reads  026  314  AL  as seen in the close-up.  Probably AL was a quality control individual at the factory.  The black-bobbin pickups appear original with their rubber compression grommets, but some solder joints at the pots have been re-soldered.  Perhaps there was a loose ground.   The solder joints at the pickup bobbins are unbroken.  
This fine Fender '57 reissue Strat weighs 7 pounds 14.5 ounces.  There's some slight playing wear on the original frets, but there is no buzzing.  The guitar plays and sounds great.  All the hardware appears fully original, like tuners, knobs, pickguard, right down to the original strap buttons.  The guitar is only missing its tremolo arm... a $10 part.   This is a great playing and sounding 21-year old vintage Strat '57 reissue... guaranteed.
