Fender Stratocaster

Early Custom Shop (see logo) when guitars were hand made. This is a killer 1989 Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Homer Haynes (HLE) Stratocaster. Serial number 459 of 500. 
The gold color is a two layer denim blue with the gold overlay which Fender call the HLE Gold. HLE means Haynes Limited Edition but it now used to describe the shade of gold Fender have started to use again in 2015. Initially Fender were going to do 200 but due to an overwhelming demand they increased to 500 units and this is one of the last 50.
The instrument has lived its life in the US, Japan and South Korea before making its way back home to the US.

• Light water damaged original hardshell case
• Missing Trem Arm
• This guitar looks great with a white guard too. Originally it was shipped with a spare white guard but that missing.
• Certificate Of Authorization (COA) which has a few marks on it. Looks like a coffee stains.

This guitar has been played and shows signs of a few chips and dings (see photos) The frets are still good, vintage wire and it has a very nice soft 'V' type next making it feel super nice to play.
